What this work involves
Work from final supplier dimensions and service drawings. Establish responsibility for worktops, appliances and reinstatement.
- Final kitchen layout
- Service points and appliances
- Worktop, plinths and handover
Use the following design considerations when coordinating this service with a wider project. Agree which parts apply to your request.
Assess material transitions where steel, timber or brickwork remains visible.
What the drawing needs to explain
Detail one connection with structural dimensions, visible finishes and adjoining materials. Have required protection measures and service space explicitly assessed.
How to review the result
Assess structural documentation and visible finishes separately. Check agreed junctions and ask which elements must remain inspectable after completion.
Cost factors for this service
Costs depend on layout, installation scope, appliances and alterations. Ask for the scope and selected specification to be described separately.
Bring this to the discussion
Photographs of the existing situation, available drawings and your requirements for kitchen fitting & installation. Identify the elements that should remain.
Questions about the work
What should I discuss before arranging kitchen fitting & installation?
Fitting and building preparation are often separate items. Check whether pipework, wall finishes and floor repairs are included.
The design situations here illustrate choices; they are not completed projects or a diagnosis of your property.
